I haven’t done the mobile thing bin quite some time. I’m sitting here waiting for the doors to open, not even 2:45am yet. I have so much to get done today its not even funny. Yesterday was a total blast and a successful family fun day… probably the most fun one I can remember. Again, I had lots I was suppose to have been doing, but only sat at the computer for a few minutes total.

I wiped out most of my Twitter follows yesterday as I wasn’t really following with any regularity and it ended up taking longer than necissary to find the updates I really wanted. I feel a little bad for the ones I dumped, but then again they never replied back to me really so oh well.
Simon has been loving all this new warmer weather… and the dandilions that are freckling our yard. He calls them “Andy Lions” though which is mega cute.
We’ve also been watching Penguins of Madagascar with him on tv, but he calls it: Penguins of the Gas Card. He’s such a riot!

My son, Simon’s verson of Humpty Dumpty as heard five minutes ago:
“Humpty dumpty sat on the wall!
Humpty dumpty sat on the wall!
Humpty dumpty sat on the wall!
… this isn’t going to be good.”

It finally came tonight at long long last. My daughter’s 6th Grade band concert which was held in conjunction with the 5th, 6th and 7th grade bands of her neghboring schools.
Of course they only did two songs, and of course her group went first. So after 10 minutes of their recital – we had to sit through the other groups’. It ended with a really nice Jazz Band set of four songs, so that was copacetic.
Parents and other attendees had to sit in the retractable gym bleachers. Good Lord that was uncomfortable. I think the only person without a back injury now is the people in the top rows. It prograssively got inched to the edge of your would-be seat as you got closer to the floor… and I was at the lowest set of bleach (what is singular for ‘bleachers’?)
I feel like I’ve just been through an hour long scoliosis test. YAY performing arts!
It was worth it.
